Terms of Service

Hood USDB is a payments platform on Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum Orbit L2. It lets you deposit, hold, send, request and withdraw USDG and native ETH with a confidentiality level you choose per action. By connecting a wallet and signing the session message, you agree to these terms.

• 01It is not a bank, and balances are not deposits. There is no deposit insurance.
• 02It is not an investment product. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and HUSDB is a protocol token, not a security offering.
• 03It is not a mixer marketed for evading obligations. The Public level exists, is fully visible, and we say so.
• 04It is not anonymous. It is confidential against on-chain observers, which is a different and smaller claim.

You connect your own wallet and sign every deposit and withdrawal; we never hold your keys. Your balance, however, sits in a pooled reserve that Hood USDB operates and is recorded on our ledger, so withdrawals are processed by our backend rather than claimed directly from a contract.

That is a trust assumption. It means the confidentiality provided is operational — privacy against on-chain observers — and not cryptographic, and it means an operator failure is a risk you carry. FHE-encrypted balances and an on-chain proof system are on the roadmap and are not shipped. Do not deposit more than you are willing to have exposed to that risk.

• 01Keep your wallet secure. We cannot recover a lost seed phrase and we will never ask for one.
• 02Review every signature prompt. Sign-in signatures move nothing; deposit and withdrawal signatures authorise the exact amount shown.
• 03Never sign a message you did not initiate.
• 04Treat agent API keys like passwords. They are shown once. If one leaks, revoke it or pause the agent.
• 05Verify a recipient before you send. Ledger transfers settle instantly and are final.
• 06Comply with the law that applies to you. You are responsible for your own tax and reporting obligations.

Transfers between accounts are free. Creating a pay link or a payment request is free. ETH withdrawals carry a 1.5% fee; USDG withdrawal fees are displayed at confirmation. Full-privacy deposits carry a small routing fee applied during mixing, plus network gas. Holding HUSDB lowers your withdrawal fee according to a schedule served live and shown before you confirm. Fees may change; the figure displayed at confirmation is the figure charged.

A pay link escrows its amount against your ledger balance and can be claimed exactly once. Unclaimed links refund to the sender automatically after seven days. Payment requests are settle-once and settlement is atomic; a second payer receives an already-settled error rather than a duplicate charge. You are responsible for who you share a link with — anyone holding it can claim it.

An agent acts under a scoped API key and a spending policy you set, enforced server-side on every call. Within those limits, an agent's transactions are your transactions. Set limits you are willing to lose. Signed receipts are proof of settlement and can be verified by anyone; we do not arbitrate what a payee did or did not deliver in return.

The platform is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and network conditions on Robinhood Chain and Ethereum mainnet can affect confirmation times and gas estimates. Features listed as not shipped are not commitments. We may change these terms; material changes will be reflected in the last-updated date above.

Do not use Hood USDB for anything unlawful in your jurisdiction, to facilitate fraud, or to attack the platform or its users. We may suspend access where we believe it is being used that way, and we will comply with legal orders that require us to.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hood USDB is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss arising from your own key management, for the behaviour of counterparties, or for losses caused by conditions on the underlying chain. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
